Maple Soy Glazed Rainbow Trout

This Maple Soy Glazed Rainbow Trout makes for a a quick, simple meal loaded with umami and richness.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Fisherfolk Smoked Trout Filet (The best there is!)

  • 1/2 medium onion, roughly chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce

  • Black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.

  2. Prepare your onion and garlic. Mix together with maple syrup and soy sauce in your baking dish.

  3. Place trout fillet to marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge, turning once halfway.

  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes uncovered skin-side down.
